How To Clean The Stainless Sink?

In particular, the stainless sink is one of the most common sinks used worldwide. The reason is they match with almost all of the electric kitchen appliances.
As the name indicates, it does not stain. If used and cleaned perfectly, it will remain new for years to come!!
The thing to remember: Abrasive scrubber, acidic foods, and bleach take the stainless steel sink’s shine away!!
To clean the stainless sink, cover the sink with baking soda and pour lemon juice on it. This concoction will whizz a bit. Let it sit for a while and then scrub it off with a non-abrasive scrubber. Wash with enough water.
In the same way, you can use a dish soap-baking soda mixture on a soft sponge.
The downside of the stainless steel sink is that it is left with water spots. Use a dry microfiber cloth to wipe it off later to end the job perfectly.
Ta-da…! Your sink is as good as new.

‘Nevers’ For A Clean Sink
- Never mix different store-bought cleaning chemicals together. They may result in some hazardous gas formation.
- Never leave dirty, water-filled pots and pans in the kitchen sink for long. It may lead to a reaction between the sink material and pots and pans, leading to discoloration of the sink.
- Never leave the cleaning cloth, microfiber cloth, or any rag on top of the sink for drying, as it may result in the growth of bacteria as well as discoloration of the sink. Sometimes, the cleaning cloth also does not dry fully on the sink, resulting in an awful smell.
- Never use your sink as a cutting board. It will get cuts and will leave it ugly looking.
- Never use steel wool to clean stainless steel sinks as it will lead to rust and corrosion.
- Never throw food shavings and eggshells, or drained tea (you got an idea, right?) directly into the sink. Always use a strainer.
EndNote
Always dry the sink completely after cleaning any kind of sink to remove limescale and water spots completely. It will ensure a shiny, spot-free clean sink for years.
If you want to do something extra, then after the cleaning process is done, you can spray a bit of aromatic essential oils on the sink and wipe it off, using a soft, microfiber cloth.
It will leave the sink shiny and the kitchen smells really good.
